Jesse Case, a notable standup comedian, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer, and puts his life on hold for treatment in a different city. This podcast is the hilarious documenting of these events.
Hi Jesse, on your assertion that sci-fi never predicted the Internet it would you are unaware of Isaac Asimov's Multivac. This machine which appears in several short stories and is mentioned in passing in several more, was usually described as a central computer containing vast information accessed from remote terminals. Granted it was based on valve technology and wasn't as universally available as our Internet but that's what my mind immediately goes to whenever someone mentions earliest ideas of the internet.
